What have we fallen for?
Have we become so Distracted that we have lost the real meaning to life?
So busy with the nonessentials of life?
Tempted to spend, spend, spend, and borrow, borrow, borrow.
Do we work for long hours 6-7 days each week, 10-12 hours a day, so we can afford our empty lifestyles.
Spending less time with our children. As families fragment, homes will offer no escape from the pressures of work!
Do we play the radio or cassette player whenever we drive...keep the TV, VCR, CDs and our PCs going constantly in our homes?
Are our coffee tables filled with magazines and newspapers. Our minds with the news 24 hours a day. Are our driving moments invaded with billboards. Our mailboxes flooded with junk mail, mail order catalogs, sweepstakes, and every kind of newsletter and promotional offering free products, services and false hopes.
Are we distracted with skinny, beautiful models on the magazines and TV so we believe that outward beauty is what's important, and become dissatisfied with our spouse.
Wives or husbands too tired to love their spouse at night.
Has Santa Claus to distract us from teaching our children the real meaning of Christmas, and Easter (Easter bunny)?
Even in our recreation, do we to go out in nature and reflect on God's creation? or to amusement parks! sporting events, plays, concerts, and movies instead.
Are we busy, busy, busy!
Do we have so many good causes that we have no time.
It was quite a plan! The demons are eagerly doing their assignments causing everyone everywhere to have little time for God or their families, and to have little or no time to Love others as Jesus told us to. I guess the question is, has the devil been successful at his scheme?
Have we over-stimulated our minds so that we cannot hear that 'still, small voice of God.'
